Sylvester Stallone (born July 6, 1946)
Sylvester Stallone an Academy Award-nominated American actor, director, producer and screenwriter. He has played two characters who have become a part of the American cultural, Rocky and Rambo.
The famous scene of Rocky running up the steps to the Philadelphia Museum of Art led them to be called the Rocky Steps.
Stallone's first film that he directed (and also starred in) was Paradise Alley in 1978. In addition, he directed Staying Alive (the sequel to Saturday Night Fever), along with Rocky II, Rocky III, Rocky IV, Rocky Balboa, and Rambo.
He wrote and starred in the comedy film Rhinestone (1984) where he played a wannabe country music singer and the drama film Over the Top (1987).
