The true story of a team of impoverished boys from Monterrey, Mexico, circa 1957, who become the first non-U.S. team to win the Little League World Series. The Perfect Game is based on a true story about 9 kids who go to America and get criticized until they beat the very best American little league baseball team in 1957. An August 8, 2008 release was originally planned, but recently Lionsgate pulled it from its original release date and a new one has been set for spring 2009. |
